On Thursday, May 29, 2025 the Mercy Service League celebrate their milestone of 50th anniversary with a lovely dinner held at La Pizzaria in Canton OH. They invited The CSA leadership team, Srs. Judith Ann Karam, Kathy Andrews and Jane Lab along with Sr. Marian Durkin, who serves as the CSA liaison with the League.

The Mercy Service League celebrated fifty years of generous dedication and devoted service to the strategic priorities, urgent and emergent needs of Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.

The organization’s mission statement has stood the test of time. It is the same today as it was in 1975 – to support the mission and ideals of Mercy Hospital through service, outreach, education, and fundraising.

The organization’s impact can be witnessed throughout the hospital and its offsites.

The Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine are grateful to the Service League for their untiring hours of service that supported the sisters’ ministry at Mercy Medical Center in the early years by operating the gift shop and holding fundraisers that provided funds for the needs of the patients, caregivers and the local community.

May God continue to bless and guide these devoted women in their ministry of care at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital and throughout the Canton area.
