My journey as a CSA has taken me to minister in many ways to various people. I have ministered in Cleveland, Canton, Ravenna, South Carolina, and Akron. Through this journey I have felt the love and support of the CSA community. I have ministered in Food Service, Purchasing, Human Resources and Community Outreach in CSA sponsored ministries. Using my business degree, I took further steps in the journey. Ministry to the mentally ill led me to assist people finding jobs through teaching and coaching. The next step on the journey led me to be director of a food pantry and hunger center. About 400 hot lunches and numerous bags of groceries were provided weekly. There were also special celebrations at the holidays. Many volunteers and donors supported this ministry. Then the journey led me to ministry in a shelter for homeless veterans. The men were given a place to live, hot meals, and assistance getting back out on their own. I was privileged to sit with a number of them and listen to their stories. In total I have experienced over forty years of many special blessings.
