My 50+ years of ministry started at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, where I served as an electrocardiogram (EKG) technician. In the summer of 1975, I began to pursue Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). I applied to the National Association of Catholic Chaplains and remain a member of the organization as a Board Certified Chaplain. In addition to my chaplaincy, I have also acted as the Administrator of Mt. Augustine, served on numerous boards and committees, and ministered in many roles at the Sisters of Charity Health System. I currently serve on the CSA Leadership Team. I have identified my ministry as a ministry of “BE” –being present to those I minister to, being present to their families and the employees I serve with on a daily basis, in whatever form it takes.
