Hermitage: A Place for Retreat

The Hermitage is a small cabin that was built to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of Mt. Augustine. Designed and built in harmony with the surrounding woods and meadows, it sits on a gentle rise overlooking a pond.

Available by reservation, the Hermitage offers a time offers a time of solitude and prayer for one person to stay for up to seven days. Depending on the weather, it is open from April until around Thanksgiving.  The cost for use of the Hermitage is according to your means, with a suggested donation of $15-$20/day.
